Hawaii is a Holiday Destination and a great place for researchers to carry their experiments to upcoming Mars expeditions but there is something that has hinder in the peace of Hawaiian people and its tourists.

Hawaii is not only home to some luxurious resorts, beautiful beaches but it has many dangerous volcanoes that are ready to burst out tons of magma and sulfur gasses with immense pressure. Twenty-six acres of land mass has formed due to stagnation of lava flowing from an active volcano and has been named as Lava Delta after lava collapsed into the ocean forming rocks.

When the collapse took place, as reported by Los Angeles Times, it formed colossal waves that washed away most of the parts of a sea cliff including viewing area of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The incident took place on New Year's Eve and the researchers and scientists encapsulated that area so that no one could step close to the flowing lava, however, five tourists reported close call when they walked closer to the barrier and they were rescued just 15 minutes before the Lava delta crumbled into the ocean.

Jessica Ferracane, public affairs specialist stated that when it collapsed in the Ocean, 40-foot high waves were generated thereby eroding the cliff section where the former viewing area was located. Before the incident took place, tourists were enjoying their time viewing the lava, however, when the delta collapse and 40-foot high waves upscaled above the cliff which led to a panic situation and around 300 yards from the cliff was evacuated.

The Hawaii News Now quoted Warren Fitz stating that the ruptured lava tube allowed lava to flow into the sea at fast pace thereby creating a new delta. Meanwhile, the authorities have barred entrance to the lava viewing area due to the inconsistent lava flow and due to recent collapse. Hawaii has been noticing some active volcanoes too.

The Lava delta forms when extremely hot lava flows into cold ocean thereby getting frosted that results in the creation of an unstable mass of land which has toxic acids and other elements which cause hinders with human health.
