Singer Janet Jackson And Husband Wissam Al Mana Welcome First Baby; A New Year Mom

Singer Jacket Jackson fans have every reason to celebrate New Year. The 50 year old singer and her millionaire husband have welcomed their first child on January 3, 2017.

According to US Weekly, the singer's rep has confirmed the news about the arrival of the new member in the family. Janet has reportedly given birth to a son and had a very stress free delivery.

The rep said, "Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world". "Janet had a stress free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably."

Janet, who is married to the 41 year old Qatar based business tycoon, Wissam Al Mana, got hitched in 2012 in a secret wedding. However, the news of her pregnancy came out in the open only in May 2016. This was when Jackson mentioned that she was postponing her Unbreakable World Tour as she was planning to start a family soon.

As per The Sun, the five time Grammy winner mentioned on April 6, 2016 in a Facebook message that the couple is willing to start a new family and so she will be postponing her tour. She even added that it would be great if her fans understood her decision as she needed rest after the delivery according to the doctor's advice.  

Interestingly, the R&B singer has always been a very private person and so the news of her pregnancy came as a surprise to many. That's not all, even after the announcement of her pregnancy, she had kept a very low profile about it.

It was only in last September that the fans got a view of her baby bump for the first time when she visited a furniture store in London. Baby on board soon! The star was photographed wearing a sweat pant, a black sweater along with a headband.

A source also mentioned that the new mom to be was extremely excited to welcome her first child. The source added that she was dealing with the entire pregnancy strongly and felt like this was one of the best feelings she could have. Cute, isn't it?

This is the first child for both of them and the couple is extremely excited about it.
