Few days ago, the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak has been released. But, many users are wary about its stability so they have stuck to the older Pangu jailbreak and opted to wait for the 10.2 build.

Before diving to 10.2 jailbreak, let's know about 10.1.1 jailbreak

The 10.1.1 jailbreak version was made possible through the efforts of the Italian iOS hacker Luca Todesco. However, for the latest iOS 10, it is a successful jailbreaking tool, but there are some known issues with iOS 10.1.1, according to Forbes.

Every time your iPhone or iPad gets rebooted, but Todesco has already confirmed that it had worked on his iPhone 7 but he did not confirmed that it will also work on others. Moreover, there is also a possibility, requiring a hard reset for it to work again.

Stefan Esser is an iOS hacker and security expert, who promised via a Twitter post on Dec. 21, 2016, that matters will get resolved soon.

iOS 10.2 Jailbreak

Stefan Esser (@i0n1c) is referring to the iOS 10.2 jailbreak, which will be coming soon in the next few days. Esser's Twitter post has indicated that the new jailbreak 10.2 will solve all the issues facing with 10.1.1. But, he has given a reassurance that iOS 10.1.1 problems will no longer be there in the new version and considering that the iOS 10.2 jailbreak is about to hit soon.

It is important to note that Stefan Esser is not behind iOS 10.2 jailbreak, it was made known in one of his comments that he cited an anonymous third-party developer. However, he has confirmed that the 10.2 jailbreak will also be effective on devices running iOS 10.1.1.

Android or other mobile OS users could be watching about jailbreaking with a sense of interest and consternation, that it is finally capable of some semblance of UI customizations and the ability to install third-party applications.
