‘Windows 10 Creators Update’: Expected To Arrive In April

When Microsoft announced its upcoming Windows 10 Creators Update (CU), codenamed "Redstone 2" in last October, the company said that it would be arriving in 'early 2017', along with some new features including 3D content creation, game broadcasting, and others.

While the update initially had a version number of 1703, now the final version number is to be 1704. Where the first two numbers represent the year and the second two numbers represent the month: the "17" in 1704 indicates the release year - in this case, 2017 and the "04" indicates the month of release: April.

Microsoft had originally planned to release the Windows 10 update in March, but a new report from MSPU claims that it will instead begin rolling out in April.  Windows 10 Creators Update will include a number of new features, but the biggest one will be the introduction of the Windows Holographic user interface, means the OS will also get support for Windows Holographic for Windows 10 VR headsets, which is Microsoft's platform for low-cost VR headsets which can introduce in a little cost at $299, offerings from HTC and Oculus.

"Moreover" all the IT companies like HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, and Acer are all planning to release VR headsets that can work with Windows 10, with some low-priced as $299. The Windows 10 Creators Update will also include a 3D version of Microsoft Paint and other.

Recently, Lenovo had shown his upcoming Windows-based headset to Engadget today. Roughly the device weight will be around 350g, with having feature including dual 1440 x 1440 pixel OLED screens and having additional there are two cameras on the outer front panel to allow for room-scale tracking without the need for additional hardware, and it will be launched sometime this year at the price of $400.

The Creators Update can also bring some handy features spotted in the leaked 14997, which includes an option to reduce blue light a la an F.lux, an Xbox Game Mode that will free up system memory to enable better gaming performance. In last November, the company promised to fit the update in a package that's 35 percent smaller than before.
