Xiaomi is known for its innovative smartphone designs with affordable prices, while Apple is known for its powerful smartphones with high prices.

Here is the comparison between Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix and iPhone 8. As per the reports, Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix could be around $370-440 and Apple's iPhone 8 is said to be around $900-1000.

Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix is rumored to feature an ultra-slim ceramic body with an edge-to-edge AMOLED screen display. As stated in Apple Insider, iPhone 8 is reported to feature an edge-to-edge OLED display.

Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix is also rumored to feature a fingerprint scanner and software based home button on its display. Apple's iPhone 8 would have a folding feature and stainless steel frames with curved edges.

Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 800 chip. For iPhone 8, it will be powered by A11 fusion chip which could be 40% smaller, 30-40% faster and consumes 40% less power.

Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix would have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM. As for iPhone 8, it is said to feature 4 GB of RAM. Mi 6 Mix will run Android Nougat while iPhone 8 will run iOS.

As stated in BGR, Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix will feature a 16 MP rear camera with Dual-LED flash and 8 MP front camera while iPhone 8 will have a rear camera which is similar to the iPhone 7 plus.

Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix is reported to have a 4000 mAh battery and could have a wireless charging feature & iPhone 8 will be compatible with the bridge headset and will also have a wireless charging feature.

Xiaomi phones are mid-ranged phones and Apple's iPhones are premium phones. So, both the devices have different following.

Based on the track record, Xiaomi seems to be one of the first to feature the latest concept designs while Apple has always been timid with its designs. So for "futuristic" design, Xiaomi will boast a more futuristic look.
