Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds To Lie Together At Cemetery in Los Angeles

The world came to a stand-still when it witnessed the death of two stars- Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. The mother-daughter bond will be forever preserved, because both of them will be buried, next to each other, at a Los Angeles cemetery.

Carrie Fisher who has portrayed the iconic character of princess Leia, which has gotten tributes on several occasions, had passed away on the 27th of December, 2016. Just a day later, a pain stricken mother, Debbie Reynolds too had to bid the world adieu. She had a massive stroke, which she could not survive. Everybody in the fraternity was aware of the impenetrable bond that the two of them had and hence, to respect the bond, they will be buried together, reported Washington Post.

As per Entertainment News, Debbie and Carrie will be buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park of Los Angeles. Billie Lourd who is Carrie Fisher's daughter and will be dealing with the memorial services of her mother. This joint memorial will happen sometime during the next week, and will only be open to extremely close friends and family. A public memorial, too, will take place in honour of the fallen stars, but the date is yet to be finalised.

The location of the burial of Carrie and Debbie's funeral were decided upon close consideration. According to sources, this was done, because Liberace was buried there and Debbie had adored him. What a loss for the nation. The two stars were irreplaceable for their contribution to the cinemas and not just that, nothing could ever take place of their iconic characters.

Leia has been reigning the fantasies of every Star Wars fanatics, while Debbie took the fifties by a storm. Her role in "Singin' in the Rain" will be forever honoured and remembered. Rest in peace, Debbie and Carrie, you will be remembered and missed.
