The journey of Bones come to an end this season and viewers are expecting a lot from upcoming 12 episodes. "Bones" Season 12 premiere 'The Hope In The Horror' was telecast on January 3, 2017.

Viewers were waiting for the 1st episode of 12th season since Season 11 finale on July 21, 2016. Everyone thought that Zack Addy, the intern is the killer. But he is innocent. He is not the one who was stringing up dead bodies and feeding them porridge.

Yes, Zack kidnapped Dr. Temperance Brennan but he did that to gain her trust. Brennan wakes up two hours after the kidnapping and saw that Zack was watching her.

In the Jeffersonian, Angela was investigating the camera recordings but saw some part missing when Zack kidnapped Dr. Brennan. She further notices that there is no footage of them outside of building and conveys the message to others that they must be in the building.

Hodgins found the trace of Dr. B till lift and Booth get the idea that they must be in the basement. Meanwhile, Zack plans to inject himself with truth serum to prove Dr. Brennan that he was innocent and he didn't kill anyone but Booth tracks them down before he does that.

Beside Dr. Brennan, other members were still thinking that Zack is guilty. Because she thought that if Zack was the real killer than he would have killed her in the first place when he got a chance.

As stated in Entertainment Weekly, Dr. Roshan visits the FBI with more than just proof of fondness. He also saw surveillance tapes where Zack repeatedly leaves the psych ward. Zack argues that he was allowing himself free time.

The last time Zack sneak out, Dr. Sweets walked him back. Dr. Roshan also confirmed that Sweets was visiting Zack almost every week.

One of the exciting facts came out that Zack was breaking into the library to hack his friends' emails. He was checking their works but he confessed that he did not look into any attachment photos. Angela also found a folder where Zack was sending emails to Hodgins as world-renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Bancroft.

Dr. Hodgins was feeling in his legs because Dr. Alexander Bancroft was sending Hodgins' physiotherapist his treatment protocol.

Meanwhile, Wendell was dealing with osteological evidence and he found a fragment of an incisor with tetracycline banding, as written in Forbes. Since that did not belong to any of the three victims, it likely means that there must be the fourth victim.

So, Wendell and Brennan head to the macabre basement to find more evidence. They found a hidden door and finds upper half of the fourth skeleton behind that door. Based on the conditions of the bone, the person died before 10 or 20 years.

Everyone in the lab started to work on that skeleton. Wendell finds a sliver of fused bone attached and Brennan realizes that the lower half of body is not missing but it is attached to a living person, a conjoined twin.

The killer was so mentally unstable by losing his twin brother that he adopted his dead brother's personality and started a killing spree. Angela performs facial reconstruction based on the skull. Brennan immediately realizes that the killer is Dr. Roshan and tells Booth to rescue Zack Addy.

Roshan was attempting to kill Zack with an injection by saying him soothing things. But Zack was uncertain and looks at a bottle and as soon as he got to know, he fights back. He tries to inject Dr. Roshan with the syringe but he could not bring himself to kill someone. Roshan stabs him in his leg and attempts to kill him again. Agent Seeley Booth comes at the sight and shoots Dr. Roshan dead.

Zack is now clear of the puppeteer serial killings but he is being held for the killing of the lobbyist but Booth doesn't think he did it and tells Zack that evidence should be re-examined.

Too much drama on the first episode itself and fans can expect much more in the remaining episodes of Bones Season 12. Hope Zack comes back for the season.
