The famed alchemist brothers from 'Fullmetal Alchemist' anime finally reveals their look for the upcoming live-action adaptation. Released by the studio on their website, the photo shows Edward and Alphonse is standing next to a train in a station. With a gloomy and steampunk-esque environment, the movie seems to stray a little bit off from the comedic elements shown in the manga and the anime.

The movie was filmed at Italy from June to August 2016 according to CBR, and tells the story of two brothers on a quest to resurrect their late mother. The two brothers, being alchemists themselves stumbled upon many people and events that shapes them into who they are. Edward, the eldest one is a blonde male with a long hair who is a newly inducted state alchemist. While Alphonse, his body is trapped in a suit of armor because of an accident while he and his brother is trying to ressurect their dead mother. And Edward lost his arm and leg in the accident.

The website also announced that the studio will held a large-scale exhibition to show off props and costumes from the movie as reported by comicbook. The exhibition will be held this year's fall in Japan, while the movie will be released in winter. This event is sure to attract many fans of the anime to come though. 'Fullmetal Alchemist' anime is regarded as one of the best anime ever released by many sites. The story is filled with philosophy, politics, race issues, and many other issues that closely resembles the situation of today's world. All while being very relatable to the audience.

'Fullmetal Alchemist' will be directed by Fumihiko Sori, and stars Ryosuke Yamada as Edward Elric, Tsubasa Honda as Winry Rockbell, and Dean Fujioka as Roy Mustang. Produced by Warner Bros, and premieres December 2017.
