Panasonic Announces LUMIX DMC-GH5 In 2017: A Micro Four Thirds camera, Successor Of GH4

Panasonic upgraded its flagship GH4, with the Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5. It has a 20 megapixel Four Thirds sensor, and a pro-grade camera featuring 4K video capture. Finally, Panasonic has revealed all the details of Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GH5, a Micro Four Thirds camera, successor of flagship GH4.

The flagship GH5 camera also includes 5-axis image stabilization with compatible lenses that allows up to 5 additional stops of shutter speed and reduced shake in videos. It has fast AF, highest resolution, improved colors, texture, and lower noise. The camera now supports ISO values up to 25,600. The Lumix DC-GH5 uses Panasonic's excellent Depth from Defocus (DFD) technology with 225 AF points, which allows for autofocus for up to 2x faster focusing than flagship GH4, a report claimed by GSM.

The Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5 has some key features like, it has 4K video capture at up to 60fps, 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording, 5-axis photo/video Image Stabilization, 480fps Depth from Defocus Focusing system, Full-Size HDMI terminal with cable lock, twin SD card slots, 3.5mm mic & headphone jacks, 3680-dot OLED EVF viewfinder, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, magnesium alloy full die-cast armor body with weather-proof.

The VFR (Variable Frame Rate)record videos with dramatic slow motion or in unique quick motion in 4K (60fps max.2.5x slower) or Full HD (180fps max.7.5x slower), and the Rack Focus Transition shifts the focus point at a constant  speed automatically for precise in-focus to out-focus points .

The Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5 is built like a tank. It is built on a magnesium alloy full die-cast armor chassis. The shutter is rated for 200,000 clicks, and has a fast 1/8000 second maximum shutter speed.It has 5-axis Dual IS which can offer up to 5 stops of slower shutter speeds. By non-IS lenses also the camera will correct for shake, for pre-order you can get from Adorama.
