2016 was a decent year for movie goers. An immense number of comic book films as well as other commercial movies hit the theatres with certainty and profited, However 2017 is not going to be different, there a lot of sequels coming our way and here are some of the most anticipated ones!


T2 Trainspotting

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales 

The seas in the minds of fans were silent as far back as Jack Sparrow's last appearance in ''Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides''. Now waves of excitement have started after the first teaser of ''Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'' hit the internet. The possible plots are really a treat for the franchise followers. ''Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'' is set to hit theatres on 26 May.


Kingsman: The Golden Circle

The secret British spy agency in the film  'Kingsmen: The Secret Service'' brought us back the gadgets and action that was missing ever  since Pierce Brosnan's departure from spy films. This year they are arriving along with their American counterpart 'The Statesmen'. Named ''Kingsman: The Golden Circle'' the movie is set to release on the 29th of September.

War for the Planet of the Apes

The Planet of the Apes franchise was refurbished by 20th Century Fox and brought us the initial stages of the story. Two films depicting the Rise and the Dawn of the planet made huge numbers, Andy Serkis as the Ape 'Ceaser' is the brilliant film making technique that replaced older ape masks and astonished everyone. The third part is a very thrilling wait for fans as Woody Harrel will also star in the film. ''War for the Planet of the Apes'' releases on the 14th of July.


Transformers: The Last Knight

Four parts of mind blowing VFX action and sci-fi stories did not full fill the minds of fans. Optimus Prime left the earth in the last part. But Michael Bay will bring him back in Transformers: The Last Knight. The recently released trailer shocked viewers with visuals of Optimus Prime as an aggressive villain. What is to come, all shall wait and see. ''Transformers: The Last Knight'' is set to release on 23rd of June.


Star Wars: Episode VIII

In the Spoiler free news Rouge One was a roaring success, Fans had a great time last two years with the return of Star Wars. The recent passing of Carrie Fisher aka Princess Leia created a huge cloud of sadness in the Star Wars fandom.
However, the makers of the film have confirmed that all the Princess's scene was complete. Now it's only a matter of waiting till Christmas as ''Star Wars: Episode VIII'' will flourish the box office from December 15th.
