CES 2017 Update: Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom Priced at $533 in China; Other Smartphones Markets Might Have to Pay More To Get It

It's official. Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom 128GB has a price tag of €504 or $533 and CNY 3,699 [in China]. After many speculations, Asus finally dropped the new Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom, a new entrant in the 3rd Zenfone series, at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 and it also broke the ice by revealing its price.

The new Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom one of the special smartphone as it has a Zoom Lens with moving parts and dual-camera setup for pitch-perfect and detailed photos and videos with accurate depth. The smartphone offers 2.3x zoom before going into digital zoom mode. Backed by a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel, the Zenfone 3 Zoom looks incredibly aesthetic.

The device was revealed at CES 2017, however, Asus managed to attract the masses leaving them wanting for more as only a few details were discussed. It was only in the Pegasus 3S in Taiwan held on January 09, 2017, the company reveal some more key aspects and of course the price.

Although the price revealed as for Chinese market, it is enough to give an estimated price. The device is available in 128GB/64GB/32GB where the price quoted in the GSMArena states that it will cost CNY 3,699 for the 128GB ROM variant which is almost $533 in USD. However, the price in Europe and North America vary from the price of China as the devices are relatively cheaper in China.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom specifications cover a lot of premium features such as a 5.5" 1080p Display with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone by Asus comes with Snapdragon 625 processor with assumptive RAM variants of 2/3/4GB. The device is powered by a massive 5,000mAh Lithium-Ion Battery.

As per BGR, the device has an impressive camera setup and hence the moniker "Zoom". The device comes with an aperture of f/1.7 and can record up to 4K videos without any glitch. The device features 12-megapixel dual-camera with two Sony IMX362 sensor for low-light photography. It also offers 3 autofocus modes, 4-axis OIS and 3-aixis EIS. The Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom in Indian market would be priced at 36,000/-. The smartphone will start shipping in February 2017.
