"Resident Evil" star Milla Jovovich, dons the famous character Alice in the lead in the movie. The movie has so far completed 6 franchises and Sony Pictures is reeling out it's the last and the seventh franchise under the title "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter".

The title "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" itself suggests that the movie is finally pulling down the curtains on the characters who worked for Sony Pictures for more than 15 years.

The six action-packed movie franchises so far grossed $915 million worldwide from the launch of the original version, reports Variety.

In the last franchise "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter", Alice returns to the Raccoon city to fight against the Umbrella Corp., which is responsible for the release of the virus. The virus apparently turned human beings into blood sucking zombies in the movie.

As per the director, Paul Anderson, who directed 3 previous franchises, told that the action-packed horror film has a lot of animated scenes that scare the hell out of the audience.

Like previous Resident Evil franchises, in this franchise also Milla will fight till the end to save the city from succumbing to the evil.

According to SuperHeroHype, the movie picks up the threads from the previous events occurred in "Resident Evil: Retribution", where Alice is the only survivor who fights against the Umbrella Corp, which is garnering the evil forces to fight against the only surviving human. Alice must return to the Raccoon city, the hive of the evil in the form of undead, before evil strikes back.
