Lucas Todesco, the famous iOS hacker, has released iOS jailbreak tool in mid-December 2016 for iOS 10.1 much to the delight of the fans. But, the jailbreak is a beta version and hence, Lucas has warned of the improper functionality of the beta tool.

Lucas Todesco has released this beta jailbreak tool for only a handful of iOS devices like 10.1-10.1.1 on the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iOS 10.0.1-10.1.1 on the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, and the iPad Pro, reports iDownloadBlog. And many more models can't jailbreak with this tool since it is only a beta version.

Yalu jailbreak warns that only developers or advanced iPhone users who are familiar with jailbreak should try this beta tool. However, naïve users should wait for some more time for a better jailbreak tool.

The website further states that Cydia is fully functional, but it is unstable. The Jailbreak method is not an untethered but a semi-tethered like the previous Pangu jailbreak (iOS 9.2 to 9.3.3), reveals Yalujailbreak.

It further states that the current jailbreak is only a basic version and certain tweaks won't work with this beta version. A sigh of relief for Apple fans as Lucas has promised a full downloadable iPhone Application (IPA) for iOS 10.2 shortly.

Lucas Todesco issued a caution for users who are attempting to download this IPA for jailbreak. He said that before starting the jailbreak process, the phone iTunes should be up to date and the Touch ID should be disabled to ensure smooth completion of jailbreak. But, users need not worry as all these applications function normally once the process is complete.

One may wonder is this the best one could get. A simple answer is "No". Yalu Beta jailbreak is not as best as the Pangu jailbreak for iOS 9.3.3. Every time the user reboots the device, the user needs to download the IPA and jailbreak again.

Although fans may be tempted to try this out, but it is suggested to wait for a more stable jailbreak tool, which Lucas Todesco promised that it is coming soon.
