The recently released Android 7.0 Nougat revamp on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge devices was seemingly withdrawn in China and supplanted with a beta. The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge were reported to begin taking Android 7.0 Nougat on Jan. 17.

Samsung has stopped the beta testing. It began moving to the final and official introduction of Android 7.0 Nougat to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge last week.

It was formerly speculated that the update was only given to devices that are part of the beta program that time. Therefore, non-beta Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge handsets should get the revamp on Tuesday, Jan. 17. However, before the mentioned release date arrives, it appears that Samsung hauled the update in China and supplanted with a newest beta. This was according to the latest news stories of China. The just-out beta reportedly bears a build digit G9350ZCU2ZQA4 that is presently circulating to succeed the previous one.

According to Times News, Samsung is now spreading the formal release of the Android 7.0 Nougat to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in the UK. The unlatched versions contain a model number SM-G930F and SM-G935F. The final update arrives with about 1.3GB size and improves the build code of the handsets to XXU1DPLT. The update delivers enhanced optimizations in every firmware as per GSMArena. It also provides polished qualities from Samsung such as reformed Always On Display features, excellent notification power, enhanced rapid toggles and battery.

Note must be taken that the Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge is not Android 7.1.1 instead; it's Android 7.0.1. Meanwhile, there's still no confirmation when the Android 7.1.1 Nougat variant of the OS willarrive to the Samsung Galaxy flagships. It can be recalled that Samsung officials affirmed it to the beta testers the previous month.
