CES 2017 arrived and ended without words for the long-awaited GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics NVIDIA. In fact, lots of graphics card industry analysts and websites expected the latest device to be revealed during the annual event.

There were many suppositions regarding the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti over the previous year. It was known to be more powerful than the present flagship graphics card of NVIDIA, which is the GeForce GTX 1080.

For this reason, worldwide tech enthusiasts are fervently hoping the launching of the card. However, they are severely discomfited when NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang missed mentioning the company's new device at the annual consumer electronics and technology trade show.

Meanwhile, Madison.com has a solid rationalization why the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti was not revealed at CES 2017. It cited the statement of Michael McConnell Pacific Crest analyst. McConnell recently said that his team discovered a "notable tone change at several first-tier desktop graphics card manufacturers surveyed regarding sell-through and inventory levels in the channel."

NVIDIA seemingly held back the debut of its GeForce GTX 1080 Ti to secure the sales of 1080. In addition, the 1080 Ti was known to be an enhanced variant of 1080. Therefore, those who previously planned to own 1080 might choose the alleged 1080 Ti preferably.

According to WCCF Tech, the two chip makers, NVIDIA and AMD had a game theory. NVIDIA postponed the release date of the GTX 1080 Ti to incorporate additional glaze on it. Moreover, the delay is to give time for AMD to take action and relish more months in maintaining the performance honor of GTX 1080 without an opponent.

There're still no official specs revealed but for now the outlet reported that the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti possibly sported relevant outlines in resemblance to GTX 1080. It is in terms of memory size and transistor count tipping a more prevailing performance. Informants from the NVIDIA are hinting that the company will present the new card around PAX East on March 10-12, 2017.
