‘Logan’ Latest News & Updates: Movie Timeline Set Ahead of X-Men

''Logan'' the movie is getting closer to its release date and as it is happening a lot of plots are being unfolded. The movie is going to be R rated and will be set in a timeline that exist after all the other X-men movies. 

It's been a while since fans witnessed the short tempered Wolverine in action. ''Logan'' is set to delight movie goers with Hugh Jackman's final blow as John Logan. The talent recently opened up to DigitalSpy regarding the timeline in which Logan is set in. He conveyed that this story is set in a slightly different universe than all the other X-men films. His statement created an uproar on Twitter which was later cooled down by the director of the film James Mangold with his reply on Twitter.

However, another confirmed tweet from the director got fans thrilled. It was that ''Logan'' will release as an R rated film with strong violence and language along with some nudity.



According to MovieWeb, this was totally expected as ''Logan'' started its production amidst of the Big R-rated hit of ''Deadpool." Deadpool gathered a whooping $132.4 million at the box office debut. It instantly became the biggest opening R-rated movie of all time.

Filmmakers do think that such changes could drive in audiences these days. With the influence and Fanship of violence in TV shows and films, witnessing such a ''Logan'' film, especially Hugh Jackman's last film as Wolverine would be a treat.

On a similar topic, this is also Patrick Stewart's last appearance as Charles Xavier aka Professor X. It is rumored that the character may have Alzheimer's disease in ''Logan."

''Logan'' also consists of a mutant that could be the next weapon X. A little girl who as of now is named as X-23/ Laura Kinney. In the comics X-23 has powers such as Regenerative healing factor and Retractable adamantium-plated claws in hands and feet. The role is played by Dafne Keen.

"Logan" is set to release on the 2nd of march in the UK this year. Prepare to witness the last time these actors play their Marvel roles as it hits a theater nearby. Here check out the movie's final trailer.
