The upcoming Samsung 2017 flagship devices promise to be packed with cool, high-tech features. While the scandalous exploding Note 7 temporarily sent its mobile sales in a downward spiral, it was not enough to send the popular brand to its fiery grave.

Au contraire, the upcoming Samsung 2017 flagships are seen to re-establish the Korean electronics giant's share in the mobile segment. While consumer interest might have been affected by the potential safety problems of the Note 7, consumers are still hopeful that Samsung will eventually churn out new models, the Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8, which would be glitch-free and safe to use.

While Samsung offered to exchange the potentially defective Note 7 for a Galaxy S7 phone at a discount, some Note 7 owners are still holding on to their phablets. Apparently, a lot are expecting that the upcoming Samsung 2017 flagships, the Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8, would function flawlessly so that they may exchange their Note 7 for the upgraded models.

Much of the excitement also comes from the anticipation that the Samsung 2017 flagship phablet Galaxy Note 8 and the flagship smartphone Galaxy S8 will arrive loaded with cool features. For instance, the Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to be VR-ready with its 4K resolution, TechTimes reported.

The fingerprint scanner in Note 7 is expected to be carried over and maybe even improved on in the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. In addition, the upcoming phablet is expected to more powerful with a 6 to 8 GB RAM powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor.

Meanwhile, the Samsung 2017 flagship smartphone Galaxy S8 is expected to have the high-tech iris and fingerprint scanner features for added security, GamesnAnime reported. It may also feature a cutting-edge AI personal digital assistant named Bixby and may also have an AMOLED display that is curved edge to edge.

But then again, it all boils down to how successful the Korean electronics giant could convince the buying public on the safety of the upcoming Samsung 2017 flagships. At the moment, no official Galaxy Note 8 release date, as well as its smartphone counterpart Galaxy S8, has been announced.
