The "Overwatch" Year of the Rooster special event will be launched any time today. But even before the "Overwatch" special event for the Chinese New Year even began, fans already knew what to expect thanks to some leak that was posted ahead of the Year of the Rooster "Overwatch" event.

According to reports, a low resolution video of an alleged teaser of the special "Overwatch" Chinese New Year themed special event has found its way in Weibo, a Chinese social network site. Though a bit grainy, the video still was able to give fans of the video game a hint of what to expect during the special event. The video is allegedly an advertisement of "Overwatch" for the Chinese market.

First noticeable feature of the "Overwatch" Year of the Rooster teaser video is the new costumes for the different heroes. Symmetra is seen in the video flashing her new Chinese New Year themed red and gold dress.

In the teaser video, "Overwatch" heroes, Zenyatta, Reinhardt, Roadhog and Winston were all featured wearing new costumes that made them look like characters from "Journey to the West". The Chinese store "Journey to the West" features lot of animals in the story.

Another intriguing part of the alleged "Overwatch" video teaser is the end part where Tracer is seen seemingly guarding a flag. This sparked speculations that the new "Overwatch" capture the flag game mode may already be introduced along with the changes made in the Year of The Rooster "Overwatch" event.

Another trailer for the special event was reportedly leaked just recently. Though Blizzard has yet to announce an end date for the Year of the Rooster special event, the leaked video suggested that the event will end on Feb. 13. More details about the "Overwatch" Year of the Rooster are expected as the different changes are rolled up today.
