2017 seem to be the year for the best smartphone clash. As Huawei just released its flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 9, OnePlus 3T seem to rival the dynamic smartphone. Here is a complete comparison of the specs that you might want to consider while choosing over the two monster phones.

As stated by ZD Net, the OnePlus 3T’s built is almost the same from its predecessor, OnePlus 3. Amid the sleek built and design, it was reported that the OnePlus 3T has a dual-SIM that leaves no slot for an SD card. Nonetheless, you could settle for its available models with internal storage of 128GB or 64GB. This then counters Mate 9’s SD card support capability.

Moving on to Mate 9, it is reported by Recombu that the smartphone has a 4GB ram and 64GB ROM. It also has an expandable storage up to 2 terabytes. OnePlus 3T then is donned with 6GB of RAM and but not an expandable storage of its 64GB and 128GB variants. Speaking about under the hood, Mate 9 is jet packed with the fastest processor Kirin 960 while the One Plus 3T has a beefy Snapdragon 821.

Each smartphone also boasts their own platform which 3T’s goes with OnePlus’ Oxygen OS and Mate 9’s own Emotion UI 5.0. While their cameras differ with 3T’s both 16-megapixel camera and Mate 9’s dual Leica 12 and 20 megapixel, both are still capable of shooting 4K resolution images and videos. More or less, both smartphones also have both access to fingerprint security so choices are hard to make.

Overall, with Mate 9’s 5.9inch screen it makes it  a better smartphone for large screen enthusiasts than OnePlus 3T’s 5.5 inches. More or less, both smartphones have a scratch resistant glass which lessens the worries. Same goes for both the smartphone's battery. Given that the Mate 9 along with its fast charging capacity powers up 4000mah of battery capacity, the OnePlus 3T just delivers 3400mah of battery power.

Yet, Phone Arena reported that the Mate 9 just released its 6GB ram with 128 GB ROM model recently. Amid that announcement, the price of both smartphones would settle them out both as the Mate 9 has a higher price of $900 compared to just half of OnePlus 3T’s price that sells for just $479. Below is a comparison test done between the 6GB RAM model of the Mate 9 and OnePlus 3T.
