‘Teen Wolf’ Season 6 Episode 10 Trailer, Spoilers: Dylan O’Brien’s Stiles Returns

The upcoming "Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode could be the episode that fans of the hit MTV series have been waiting for. In the brief trailer that may be viewed below, it appears that Scott, played by Tyler Posey, and the gang will finally be able to retrieve Stiles, played by actor Dylan O'Brien. But first, a brief recap on the recently aired "Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 9.

Titled "Memory Found," "Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 9 was all about the struggle for Scott, Lydia and Malia to remember Stiles in order to open a supernatural rift between this world and wherever world Stiles is currently being kept captive, reports Entertainment Weekly. For this to happen, the trio went inside the tunnel to use Parrish's contraption that lower one's body temperature and heart rate to enter a trance state needed for the process to be effective.

The first to make the attempt was Stiles' best buddy Scott. With Lydia guiding him via hypnosis, the process started to work. Scott started to remember all their bromance moments topped by that memory of Stiles putting his life on the life to save his best buddy. Unfortunately, "Teen Wolf" Season 6 Episode 9 did not end with Scott opening up the rift for his buddy; Lydia and Malia had to pull him out as his heart rate dropped to dangerous levels.

The next one to try opening the rift in "Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 9 was Malia. She almost succeeded as well when she was able to retrieve her strongest memory with Stiles back at the Eichen House when Stiles made a promise to never leave her. Almost, but Scott and Lydia had to pull her out as well.

As romanctic fans might have guessed, it was Lydia's memory that was sufficiently strong enough to open up the rift in "Teen Wolf" Season 6 Episode 9. Remembering their first kiss was the key, along with her last moments with Stiles where he professed his love to her before being taken away. And her biggest regret was she was not able to answer back.

All in all, it was not a bad filler episode but some fans lament that it should have been Scott who brought his buddy back. Five seasons of the show is enough to prove that their connection is just as strong, if not stronger, as Lydia and Stiles' connection. And being an episode about remembering Stiles meant that it was filled with flashbacks, something that TV Fanatic views as the episode's downside.
