The previous episode of "NCIS" season 14 opened big doors for Brian Dietzen's Jimmy Palmer. Most viewers were shocked to discover that Jimmy, who was once just assisting behind Ducky, is now a doctor. Spoilers for the upcoming episodes suggest that the big reveal in episode 13 may alter the team's dynamics.

To recap, "NCIS" season 14 episode 13 saw the team discovering that Jimmy is actually no longer the guy who stayed mostly behind the scenes. He is now Dr. Palmer and his status can help to further solve missions that Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) team has. Ducky (David McCallum) played a major role in Jimmy's decision to become a doctor and it turns out that his coaxing worked.

Jimmy had to go through three exams before becoming a doctor. Since he feared that letting his colleagues know about his road to ME story could mess with the team's current setup, he just kept silent. However "NCIS" season 14 spoilers suggest that things will definitely change after Jimmy's big revelation.

After Tuesday's episode of "NCIS" season 14 aired, Deitzen sat down with TV Guide to talk about the Jimmy-centric installment. The actor teased that moving forward, there will be a lot of colleagues who will see Jimmy "through a new lens." Deitzen added that after the events that went down with the suicidal man on the ledge, Jimmy's relationship with his mentor, Ducky, will change forever.

As for the changes that his character will experience in the upcoming episodes of "NCIS" season 14, Deitzen shared that he is hoping for an "empowering" impact on Jimmy. While other members of Gibbs' team were trained to speak with suicidal people, Jimmy was different. His experience with a man who almost killed himself may change the way he sees things.

Meanwhile, Robert Wagner will reprise his role as Anthony DiNozzo Sr. in "NCIS" season 14 episode 14. Gibbs and his team will collaborate with Tony's (Michael Weatherly) father to check into the death of a petty officer somewhere in the outskirts of D.C. The episode is titled "Nonstop" and is slated to air next Tuesday on CBS.
