‘Westworld’ Season 2 Spoilers, News & Update: Sequel Arrving In 2018; Sneak Peak To The Returning Cast

The 2016 series "Westworld" is all set to create the imaginative world once again in "Westworld" Season 2, which is expected to air in 2018 on HBO. As soon as the release of "Westworld" Season 1 violent finale, the fans can't stop speculating about the upcoming events and returning cast of the series. The season finale gave so many hints for the expanding world in the upcoming seasons of the series.

Robert Ford's character portrayed by Anthony Hopkins is the much anticipated and expected return of the "Westworld" Season 2. Even if the death of Robert Ford is shown in the finale episode of the season 1, still his voice was heard in the park. That may be an indication of Robert to be seen in the following season too.  As per the reports of The Hollywood Reporter, Jonathan Nolan, one among the writers other than Lisa Joy has commented that there will no return of Season 2 on HBO until 2018.

As per the information from the Independent, Robert Ford, who was killed in the "Westworld" Season 1 may not be he himself. But it may be a robotic version of Robert Ford, which could have been created by Robert to protect himself from Delores. Even the handshake between Robert and Arnold indicates such a possibility. So that also gives a hope for the return of Robert Ford in "Westworld" Season 2.

The statement "Working with Anthony Hopkins on this season of TV has been one of the greatest pleasures and privileges for Lisa and I in our careers. It's been an incredible experience, and we'll see where our story takes us."  was given by Jonathan Nolan in an interview with the Variety. It gives a hint that the '"Westworld" Season 2 may take the viewers to the flashback story.

 Elsie and Stubbs are sure to return for Season 2 as they were not killed or visible in the "Westworld" Season 1 finale. Ed Harris' Men in Black and Evan Rachel Wood's Dolores Abernathy will definitely be returning in "Westworld" Season 2. 'Westworld' is a TV series by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy based on the 1973 movie of the same name.
