The fate of the hit CBS comedy sitcom, "The Big Bang Theory", remains uncertain as extension talks are still underway. Though CBS has already expressed optimism about the current talks, no concrete details as to the progress of the negotiation have surfaced. Some of the lead stars of the show has also voiced out their thoughts about "The Big Bang Theory" season 11.

CBS Boss Glenn Geller has said in an interview with Deadline that he is guardedly optimistic about "The Big Bang Theory" extension.

Judging from what transpired in the last renewal talks for "The Big Bang Theory", the current negotiation is still within the normal timeline. It can be remembered that deals with the casts of the hit TV sitcom have not been finalized until late summer.

There are also reports that Jim Parsons may not be interested in reprising his Sheldon Cooper "The Big Bang Theory" character as he is currently busy in doing other things outside the CBS show. However, the reports seem to be untrue as Jim Parsons has again committed himself in another "The Big Bang Theory" project, this time as an executive producer for the Sheldon "TBBT" spinoff.

Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard in "The Big Bang Theory" stated in an interview that he does not know how long he sees himself playing Sheldon's best friend in the hit TV comedy sitcom. However, he remains optimistic for "The Big Bang Theory" season 11 as the writers of the TV sitcom have already expressed their willingness to write more episodes for the show.

No reports as to how the negotiation talks for "The Big Bang Theory" season 11 is doing have surfaced. But if ever the negotiations push through there might be another three more seasons of "TBBT" since the last extension talks concluded with a three year extension.
