Lucas Tedesco has recently released iOS 10.1 Yalu jailbreak tool in mid-December 2016 for iOS 10.1 to assert his dominance in jailbreak world. But, the jailbreak is only a beta version and of limited functionality.

Pangu, the Chinese jailbreak group, considered as the complete jailbreaking team has hinted that it is ready with iOS 10 jailbreak but is eagerly waiting for iOS 10.2 updated from Apple, Spoiler Scoop reported. It is rumored that Pangu team kept the jailbreak tool at hand and want to release it after iOS 10.2 official release by Apple. Last year they are successfully released iOS 9.3 jailbreak tool on their website. Pangu team has promised iOS 10 jailbreak last year itself.

A couple of days ago, Apple has launched iOS 10.2.1 update after four beta and after six weeks of intense public testing, reports Forbes. Apple iOS 10.1 is compatible with all iOS 10 devices, including iPhone 5 or later, iPad 2 or later and iPad mini 2 or later. The size of the update ranges from 30MB to 90MB depending on the device model.

Lucas Tedesco is once gain proven his sleight in releasing Yalu 102 jailbreak for iOS 10.2 just days before Apple's iOS 10.2.1 update. However, Apple once again closed the lid on jailbreak by releasing this new software patch.

According to Redmond Pie, Yalu 102 jailbreak works only for all Apple devices other than iPhone 7 or 7 Plus. Those who have upgraded to iOS 10.2.1 can downgrade the device back to iOS 10.2 to enjoy the Yalu 102 jailbreak features. Meanwhile, iPhone 7 users can downgrade to iOS 10.1.1 and use Yalu jailbreak beta for iOS 10.1.

Yalu jailbreak released iOS 10.1 beta jailbreak tool in December 2016, is only for hackers or advanced iOS users as it is very complicated with limited features. The website further states that Cydia is fully functional, but it is unstable. The Jailbreak method is not an untethered, but a semi-tethered like the previous Pangu jailbreak (iOS 9.2 to 9.3.3).

Apple users are still waiting for a firm iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool from Lucas team or Pangu team. Stay tuned with us for more updates on the story!
