As Blizzard launches its "Overwatch" 2.03 Update last Jan. 24 on Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the much anticipated Year of the Rooster is already now live. General issues, bugs were fixed as well as hero balances were made. Now, players would be more hyped to play the shooter game.

Blizzard hopes that as the Lunar New Year engages so as their hope to bring joy, prosperity, and lots of fun to “Overwatch” players. It was noted that among the general "Overwatch 2.03 Update" listed on their site is that players should know that “Stay As Team” option is now included which gives the go signal on other team players whether or not you would like to stay in their team.

Hero balance was tweaked on the "Overwatch 2.03 Update" as well, several heroes’ abilities were changed, specifically, Lucio, D.Va, Roadhog and Ana. Ana’s healing boost from her Biotic Grenade was decreased since it was identified that it heals too much. Same goes with D. Va’s armor to be decreased in the update as it was stated that her armor is perceived by others to have no weakness.

It was also mentioned that among the hero balance change was that of Roadhog. Since the "Overwatch 2.03 Update", Roadhog's capability to hook other players around corners is now known to be already disabled. Another effective quirk mentioned on the "Overwatch" 2.03 update is the lesser cooldown for players to crouch.

Nonetheless, Mic warns players that before the seasonal event ends at Feb. 13 it is advised that "Overwatch 2.03 Update" players should get their desired skins and items ahead. The reason was pointed to be that Blizzard has an irregular way of ending seasonal events.

The previous Halloween Terror event caused a rampant reaction from “Overwatch” players because they didn’t get their items before the event ended. It was expected that the event would last a couple of more hours, but instead, it was the opposite. The event ended a couple of hours “early” ahead of the expected schedule. So, “Overwatch” 2.03 update players should then take note of that tip upon engaging in the Year of the Rooster event. Hence, players should enjoy the Year of the Rooster event, update, sit back, play and enjoy!
