The return of Nina Dobrev on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 has recently circulated on the web. Fans are all thrilled for her comeback to the long-running series. "The Vampire Diaries" finale will be aired on March 10, Friday on the CW.

Regardless of the speculations of Dobrev's re-appearance in the last season of "The Vampire Diaries," official confirmation is not yet released. She played the character of Elena Gilbert, who is the romantic interest of Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder).

Dobrev and Somerhalder turned to being sweethearts in real life, but they split up eventually. Somerhalder is now married to Nikki Reed. Previous reports claimed that Dobrev quit the show because she felt uncomfortable working with her ex-boyfriend.

As per Starz Post, "Elena never really left. She's always ever-present, and she plays a great deal into Damon's morality, his understanding of who he is," Somerhalder said. The actor is not sure about the work load of Dobrev in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. "I think they're just finishing writing the finale now," he added.

The comeback of Dobrev in "The Vampire Diaries and 8" is merely confirmed even though there's no official statement from the show itself. According to E! Online report, Dobrev revealed her reappearance through Instagram.

She posted a photo of the show's finale script. "I know it's Thursday, but this is not a TBT," the actress wrote, supplementing the hashtags, "#BackOnSet #TVDForever."

The role of Dobrev in "The Vampire Diaries" was an essential section of the series. She will not allow the show to end without the fans knowing about Elena's destiny.

Dobrev finished other projects such as "Flatliners" and "xXx: Return of Xander Cage." The actress desires to make projects that are dark and grainy. This will be happening soon with her quality as an actress. "The Vampire Diaries" is nearly to an end, and fans are highly anticipating for a satisfying finale.
