Protein shakes are today's most used option for the health conscious. One of the latest healthy meal replacement is the Huel - a nutritionally complete powdered food that contains all the proteins, carbs, and fats that a person needs.

This drink has started its popularity for tech and developers as they have lesser time to have meals. However, it wasn't long when it has joined the "superfood" bandwagon.

As reported by The Memo, the powdered drink, Huel, is a well-known food replacement in the UK. It costs around £1.61 and it asserts to contain the necessary nutrients that a person needs. But the question is, how does it feel like to just "drink" the food daily? And is it for everyone?

Basically, the advantage of taking Huel instead of anything else is that it costs less. It would also require the only arm to enjoy the "nutritionally balanced drink."

"Certainly nutritionally it seems to tick all the boxes," said Norval Scott, head of PR and Communications at Wayra UK. Apart from having little to no time spent for lunch, Scott is lactose intolerant, therefore he has a complicated choice for food.

So technically, the powdered meal replacements have everything that the body needs and the best part perhaps, is that the consumer will feel full, rather than being hungry as what most people thought. Also, those who have already used Huel claims that the taste is not as bad as it looks.

Apart from being a drink, Telegraph reported that Huel can also be used as a super flour. But the concern lies whether the powdered food replacement is for everyone. Although Huel has no digestive effects and noticeable negative impacts, it's possible that it's not for everyone. There has been a little research about meal replacement like this, therefore, it's best to leave a food like this to those who are looking for a cheap, healthy alternative lunch.
