People are waiting for the next Apple update, however, the much-awaited iOS 11 might not support 32-bit anymore. Several reports show how the famous American brand dropped hints about not supporting its upcoming major release. However, Apple developers should not be surprised with the sudden change as Apple has supported 64-bits app in 2013 when the iPhone 5 was released.

Since then, Apple has demanded its developers to submit new applications in Feb. 2015 to support 64-bit. "Starting February 1, 2015, new iOS apps uploaded to the App Store must include 64-bit support and be built with the iOS 8 SDK, included in Xcode 6 or later," Apple said.

As reported by 9to5Mac, Apple has sent warnings through its newly-released iOS 10.3 beta. The notice suggests that the first version of iOS, the iOS 11, will stop its support to 32-bits apps. While the brand has already warned iPad and iPhone users in regards to 32-bits apps hindering the device's performance, a new signal in iOS 10.3 beta 1 prompts about removing 32-bits apps in the future iOS releases.

This is Apple's effort in pushing their developers to "get their apps up to scratch," as per the Inquirer. For instance, a notice in an app called "Waterslide" suggests: "Waterslide Needs to Be Updated This app will not work with future versions of iOS. The developer of this app needs to update it to improve its compatibility."

Therefore, apps that are not renewed according to Apple's requirement -- support 64-bit -- is likely gone in the App store. In 2016, Apple has already sworn to take orphaned and outdated apps away. Apps that has no longer met the brand's guidelines were obstructed in case it has remained the same after Sept. 7. In October, over 47,000 apps were removed.
