Donald Trump has a few choice words to say about the ratings decline of "The Apprentice" to his successor, former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the latter is not afraid to hit back.

Trump was the host of the "The Apprentice" for 14 seasons continuously, until he decided to enter politics. At the annual National Prayer for Breakfast (Feb. 22), Trump referred to the show and expressed his dismay at the ratings decline since he was replaced. Interestingly, the creator of the show, Mark Burnett, was also there in the event. Trump even went so far as to say Burnett will never bet against him again and then at the end of his speech, he asked everyone to pray for Schwarzenegger for his ratings, the New York Times reported.

Schwarzenegger responded with a video on Twitter offering Trump to switch jobs with him instead so people can sleep again in peace. Not to be deterred, Trump fired back a tweet at him and compared the ratings of "The Apprentice's" last season premiere and the one with Schwarzenegger as the new host. Based from Nielsen's ratings, the season premiere of the show dropped 43% compared to the last season premiere with Trump, according to NME.

The former Mister Universe star responded in kind, and encouraged Trump to work as aggressively for the American people as he did with his ratings for the show. It didn't end there, as Schwarzenegger later admitted that the first time he learned about the diss, he thought about calling his assistant and setting up a meeting in New York, as per Men's Journal. "And then we just smash his face into the table," the former California governor said in jest.

Schwarzenegger has criticized Trump several times already, such as appointing a climate change denier as head of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and for the mismanaged implementation of the executive order banning citizens from seven Muslim majority countries. But the movie star has one last thing to say about his war of words with the President. "Don't get into a stinking contest with a skunk."
