Speaking with Weekly Famitsu, "Final Fantasy XV" video game director Hajime Tabata revealed that he would like to see the hit RPG from Square Enix to be ported on PC. He also revealed other information about the popular RPG in the said interview.

In an interview with Japanese Magazine Weekly Famitsu, Hajime Tabata discussed about the possibility of releasing a "Final Fantasy XV" PC Version. Tabata said that he would like to release "FF15" on PC as a technical attempt.

According to Tabata, he wants to show PC users "Final Fantasy XV" running on high-end machines. The game director also revealed that the "Final Fantasy XV" PC version will include some exclusive features when it is released.

Tabata seem to be emphasizing on "Final Fantasy XV" PC mod support when he discussed about the exclusive features of the "FF15" for PC. The game director said that the exclusive features will include allowing players to create their own quests and enjoying the world with things like mods.

Tabata also dismissed rumors that "FFXV" map expansion will be released. A lot of videos have surfaced online that suggested that some unexplored areas in the game will be developed and will soon be playable. The game director revealed that these videos made use of glitches.

However, Tabata did not entirely dismiss the notion that an expansion will be released for "Final Fantasy XV". He revealed that they might remake playable areas in future expansions. However, these expansions are not in their current plans as the expansions will take a year to develop.

Hajime Tabata also revealed that the development of "Final Fantasy XV" VR content is progressing but has not progressed enough that they can already announce a "FFXV" VR release date. Tabata also said that though there are no plans to introduce updates and DLC aside from those that are already announced he does have an ambition and that is to see players freely travel the "FF15" world by car.
