Galaxy S8: What You Should Expect From Samsung's Upcoming Flagship Phone?

Samsung's upcoming flagship phone is getting ready to become a "beastly-device", as some rumors and leaks suggested. The Korean brand had undeniably injured its name with the fiasco associated with its Galaxy Note 7 last year, and this year's Galaxy S8 is geared up to regain its patron's trust. While there are no confirmed details about its specs and features yet, the latest leaks have provided several details on what to expect from it.

Apparently, Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to outstand it predecessor, the Galaxy S7. Although it is expected to sport the same glass sandwich that it S7/S7 edge has, it will not have the flat screen variant as all of the upcoming units with have curved-edge displays.

The forthcoming Galaxy S8 is also anticipated to have a thinner top and bottom bezels, which means that it is likely to ditch the physical home button and giving way to an embedded fingerprint scanner. This also means that unlike the Galaxy S7 series, this year's flagship phone of Samsung will increase its screen-to-body ratio. Meanwhile, the side of Galaxy S8 is expected to have an additional hardware button to its left that will serve as a dedicated key for Samsung's new virtual assistant -- Bixby.

According to TechTimes, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus is expected to have 5.8- and 6.2-inch dual-edge QHD Super AMOLED displays with a more improved ratio of 18.5:9. It is also speculated to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 for its processors, delivering a noticeable boost in its performance and battery life, unlike the last year;s version.

Recombu reported that Samsung Galaxy S8's leaked case photo shows that it will likely have an S Pen on its own. Samsung's stylus had lost the excitement for the last year's fiasco however, it is anticipated for its comeback this year Galaxy S8 is also expected to produce a dual-lens camera for a better, low light performance.
