People are ecstatic to be enticed with the latest Google Android 7.0 Nougat update. Samsung users would be hyped to know that their S6, S6 Edge, and S6 Edge Plus smartphones are yet to experience it. Thanks to the leaked manual, users could now tell what’s in store for them.

According to Racing Junky, as the latest flagship phones of the tech giant, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge had already received its Android 7.0 update last month, it’s obvious that the next in line to roll out the update would be the company’s previous flagship phones, the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge Plus.

It was then hinted that a Samsung smartphone under the model name SM-G920V had already received a Wi-Fi Alliance certification. In which the model name was referred by Verizon as the Samsung Galaxy S6. Yet, no official date has been released.

Regarding the Nougat update of the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge Plus, Phone Arena noted that some of the 7.0 Update features for the S7 and S7 Edge differs from the Nougat update of the S6. It seemed that S6, S6 Edge users would miss some of the features that had been offered for the S7 series. Yet S6 series users would get the similar home screen, settings, redesigned status bar and the new Pop-up View mode features.

It was shown that a brand new feature, Wide Selfie Motion would be just exclusive for S7 series users. Another was noted to be that Video Enhancer from the Note 7 goes the same for just S7 series users again. The new Performance Mode that Samsung S7 integrates had also been present in the S6 manual but isn’t available on the S6 and S6 Edge maintenance screen as stated.

Other Samsung gadgets to receive the update among the S7 and S6 series are said to be the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE unlock), Galaxy A3, and the Galaxy A8 per Android Authority. Samsung also noted that the update for the smartphones and tablets would be done “within the first half of this year.”
