Justin Timberlake is definitely not in Sync, at least that's what it seems from his statement. The actor- singer has recently opened up about quitting his all boys band, NSync in early 2000, while the band was at its peak.

"I was growing out of it," said Timberlake as the Hollywood Reporter reported. "I felt like I cared more about the music than some of the other people in the group. And I felt like I had other music I wanted to make and that I needed to follow my heart."

The all boys band that included Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone didn't announce their split officially but went on hiatus in 2002. Sadly, the band never reunited till date and the reasons remain unclear to their fans.

The "Friends With Benefit" star mentioned that they were on a stadium tour when he felt the crowd was too big. The band conflict, he added started off as a snowball fight that turned into an avalanche. It was at that time that Timberlake decided to quit from NSync.

Interestingly, shortly after he left the band, Timberlake, recorded his first ever solo album, "Justified". He also made his solo performance debut in MTV Video Music Awards, 2002. Interestingly, it is believed to be the starting of his friendship with Jimmy Fallon as US Weekly reported.

Apart from being a singing sensation, Justin Timberlake is also a renowned actor and has shown his acting skills in several movies including "The Social Network". "I want to do both things. I really do idolize the golden era of Hollywood, when actors were required to sing and move. But I'm just following my gut in the decisions that I make about what I'm going to do next, claimed Timberlake.

Presently, the Timberlake is unsure about what he wants to do, be it singing or acting. However, he is still excited about his latest music. As for him, he is more concerned about how his career might affect his family.
