Grammys 2017: Adele Confirms Marriage With Simon Konecki Her Husband, Slams Estranged Dad

Adele was rumored to have married her partner of over 5 years, Simon Konecki. The couple is believed to have walked down the aisle in a secret wedding ceremony during Christmas. However, the "Hello" singer has finally confirmed the news on the Grammy Awards.

According to The Mirror, the singer had confirmed the news of Konecki being her husband when she took to the stage to accept the award. Adele thanked him during her acceptance speech after winning album of the year. It was there that she mentioned her husband, Konecki.

Adele won the best album of the year for 25 and she couldn't stop herself from thanking the most special person in her life. The winner of 5 Grammy awards took to the stage teary eyed to accept the award and spoke her heart. She thanked Konecki, gesturing him as he watched from the audience Daily Mail Online reported.

"Grammys, I appreciate it, the Academy, I love you, my manager, my husband and my son - you're the only reason I do it", said the 28 year old singer. The couple met back in 2011 and have a beautiful 4 year old son, Angelo.

Earlier Adele sparked the rumor of her marriage when she was spotted wearing a gold band in Los Angeles in December. The couple got engaged last October. Adele also thanked her producer and praised her manager, Jonathan Dickins. Even though Adele compared her manager to her estranged father, she went ahead to claim that she doesn't love her father. "I don't love my father", she claimed.

Adele's father left her as well as her mother when she was only three years old. The performer started her Grammys journey with a rendition of her acclaimed hit, "Hello". She later performed a tribute to late George Michael singing a slow down version of "Fastlove". The singer grabbed five Grammys this year, album of the year,record of the year, best pop vocal album, best pop solo performance and song of the year.
