Apple and Samsung have been preparing much for the release of both of their flagship smartphones this year. While Apple has its iPhone 8 being prepared, leaks have already been released regarding what Samsung’s S8 would have that would brush off Apple’s iPhone 8.

Gotta be Mobile reported that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 was leaked by “trusted” source, Evan Blass which showed an image of the Samsung Galaxy S8. It was said that the S8 would have an eye scanner feature besides its fingerprint scanner.

Meanwhile, some Apple users have trouble with their wireless jacks. Fortunately, reports pointed out that the Samsung Galaxy S8 would still retain its port for headphones. Another good news is for Note fans since it was reported that the S8 would have two variants namely the 5.8 inch Samsung Galaxy S8 and the bigger 6.2-inch display for the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus both incorporated with a Micro SD card slot.

It was also reported that the Samsung Galaxy S8 would sport a mighty AMOLED screen that might still have the dustproof and waterproof capabilities of the S7 per Komando. Reports also identified that the Samsung Galaxy S8 along with its 4K display would be paired with an Exynos 8895 chip and a Mali-G71 GPU for a better and more dynamic graphics than the S7.

Regarding what’s under the hood, Samsung Galaxy S8 would have 6GB of RAM as reported. Meanwhile, for its S8 Plus variant, guesses are that it would be integrated with 8GB of RAM along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor aided with Samsung’s 10-nanometer technology.

Moreover, it was also reported that in Samsung Galaxy S8’s launch would also debut Samsung’s first AI virtual assistant named Bixby. The Bixby is reported to be powered by the same company who powered Apple’s Siri as well, which is the VIV company acquired by Samsung last year. Samsung S Health App is also a newly reported feature that would allow Samsung Galaxy S8 users to contact doctors via video chat and achieve other medical convenience.

Speaking about the release date, tons of speculations had pointed out that the Samsung Galaxy S8 would be launched at the upcoming Mobile World Congress this upcoming Feb. 27 to March 2. Yet as usual Evan Blass’ leaked rumor of the release date to be March 29 is true as reports had mentioned.
