As most people take over telecommuting tasks, beating distractions at home can be difficult. Problems become even more when Netflix button is just a tap away. Even though everyone working from home knows they have to get it done, the distractions are many.

"It is absurdly easy to be sidetracked at home," said Karen Elizaga, author of Find Your Sweet Spot and executive coach. According to Karen, the comfort of the house, the bed and the surrounding itself is distracting. Adding to that Netflix binging, social media gives unproductive work hours.

In fact, with no one to watch, it becomes easier to get distracted. "For example, it's easier to say you will finish a work project a little later-and then never get to it," added Hallie Crowford, career coach. But with the bills to pay, it becomes necessary to concentrate on the work and earn money.

According to Glamour, there are four easy ways to beat the work from home distractions. TV is the first one in the list. Whether it's watching a new show or simply switching it on to give company, TVs really distract people working. The best way is to swap TV with Spotify station. This increases productivity and help people concentrate.

Dirty dishes are next on the list of distractions. Even though dirty dishes might be the last thing in mind when someone returns from work. While working from home, those unwashed dishes can give any person a nightmare. Crawford suggested people start the day's work by cleaning the work table and clean the dishes after lunch The Guardian reported. Moreover, allotting a specific time to do the dishes might save people from the distractions.

Friends and family also become common distractions for those working from home. Being at work from home, people often call up their friends and family members when they should be working. Even though talking to them helps boost the energy, people need to ensure it doesn't take up too much of their working time.
