The Colombian-American actress stated her desire to block her ex-fiance for future attempts to have access to her frozen embryos. On Tuesday, the "Modern Family" star filed her wish to put an end to Nick Loeb's future endeavor to reach the embryos that the two have frozen together while thinking about having IVF in 2013.

The pair ended their relationship in 2014 after being engaged in 2012. Sofia Vergara personally shared, via her social account, about their split to prevent the press from creating hurtful news. According to ENews!, she and Nick Loeb had broken up because of their schedule and that they are having too many problems. She also added that their decision is what's best for them.

After a year, Loeb filed a lawsuit to gain full custody of their frozen embryos. This is to also prevent Vergara from terminating them, however, he voluntarily dropped the case in December. Meanwhile, Sofia Vergara believes that this has only left a chance for another lawsuit in the future.
And now, it is happening. Sofia Vergara is asking for a court order that will end the legal battle once and for all. The submitted documents contain Vergara's belief about Loeb continuing to pursue custody of the frozen embryos and the attempt to acquire a legal verdict that will make him have full control. In her statement, she has asked for a "declaratory judgment" requesting the Art Reproductive Center to be "prohibited from releasing the Pre-Embryos for any purpose without explicit mutual written consent" from both of them.

Vergara has also asked for money due to the incurred damages because of Loeb's malicious act of breaking their contract. Nick Loeb's filed case, as Mirror reported, is his way of protecting the embryos in California, however, it has been dropped when the court favored Sofia Vergara.
