Mariah Carey News: ‘We Belong Together’ Singer Finally Confirms Relationship With Bryan Tanaka

Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka are a couple and it's confirmed. The singer has recently confirmed her relationship with with beau Tanaka. In a recent interview given to the Associated Press, the "Without You" singer has subtly confirmed that she is in a relationship with backup dancer Tanaka.

When the singer was asked about her highly publicized relationship with Tanaka, she let it with a slip confirming he was her "boyfriend" People reported. "I'm just going to be like 'I really don't talk about my personal life.' Because that's what I used to do and it really worked for a minute, back, a while ago," she said. "I just don't feel comfortable talking about my personal life. ... Me and my boyfriend don't want to do that", Carey said.

Both Carey and Tanaka had always kept their relationship under the wrap right afte she split from her Australian fiance James Packer. It was rumored that Parker split from Carey due to her growing closeness with Tanaka. Tanaka was the backup dancer on Carey's world tour.

Even after the split from ex beau, the Grammy winner didn't shy away from showing her relationship with Tanaka. According to New York Daily News, the duo was spotted spending quality time at Hawaii beach last December. They were also spotted holding hands during a Christmas performance. Recently the pair also went for an intimate Valentine's Day photoshoot, where they posed in a bath tub.

Interestingly Carey and Tanaka's growing romance has always been the interest of many. In fact, their blossoming romance is also part of the E docu series, Mariah's World.

The couple's sudden closeness and romance also led several of Carey's close friends assume she was dating Tanaka. For instance, Carey's friendly ex, Nick Cannon mentioned he didn't believe that the Carey and Tanaka was dating. Cannon even went ahead to say that the entire reality was fake.

However,Cannon who is the father of Carey's children, Monroe and Moroccon said he was happy with what makes the singer happy. The singer has wrapped up the reality show only last month and is planning a tour soon in March.
