A few days after announcing news about their baby to everyone, Thomas Rhett and wife Laurens Akins are back to expose another milestone. The American country singer and the social media marvel have recently shared about expecting their first baby and an adopted child from Africa, and now they are revealing their first child's gender. Through a beautiful cake stunt, the lovely couple shared their bundle of joy's sex and it was no other than... a girl!

According to Wide Open Country, the two have surprised everyone with their marriage in 2013. And now, they are gathering their closest family and friends for another surprise and this involves their baby No.1's gender.

Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins will cut open a cake to find out whether it's going to be a pink or blue one. Pink represents a girl and of course, blue will for a boy. At first, the healthy pregnant made everyone think that she's expecting a baby boy. However, the country music star came in and yelled: "It's pink!"

A video, according to E! was taken to see everyone's reaction and Lauren captioned it with: "sorry our family is nuts BUT WE'RE HAVING A BABY GIRL!!!!"

Just recently, Thomas Rhett shared a big news on his social media account. He said that they are happy to announce that they are pregnant and that they are working on adopting a child from Africa. He also mentioned that their life is about to get crazy.

Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins, who first met in Kindergarten, were on an African safari trip last December and although the couple tried to stop conceiving on their own, they were surprised when Lauren discovered about her pregnancy. After struggling with fertility issues, Akins and her husband decided to adopt, as mentioned in People magazine, however, it seemed like the two were blessed with more than enough.
