Nintendo unveiled file sizes of many Switch games that can be downloaded digitally. This hybrid game console has 32 GB internal storage but only 26 GB is allotted for the games.

Nintendo Switch can contain the majority of the games, and its operating system will use the extra storage space, GameSpot reported. Therefore, subscribers who want to avail all the games will need a separate SD card. The company recommended a microSD card of 32GB and above.

According to Nintendo website of Japan, lists of the games and their corresponding download sizes are as follows: "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is 13.4 GB, whereas "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" is 8 GB. In addition, "Disgaea 5" and "Nobunaga's Ambition" are 5.92 GB and 5.0 GB respectively.

The three Nintendo Switch's games having the least file size are, "Snipperclips" 1.60 GB, "I Am Setsuna" 1.40 GB and "Puyo Puyo Tetris" 1.09 GB.

The "Dragon Quest Heroes I & II," doesn't suit in the console's internal storage due to its 32 GB file size. Therefore, an additional SD card will be needed for its installment.

A previous report claimed that players could expand the memory of Nintendo Switch with Micro SDXC cards. As per the company, the Switch will support cards of up to 2 TB.

Unfortunately, that sizes of cards are currently out of stock. The biggest SDXC card for Nintendo Switch is 512 GB and it's usually the available storage. It is being sold for US $200 / £200 or more depending in their respective countries.

Meanwhile, potential Nintendo Switch purchasers may grab some items for their console in advance. This includes microSD cards, Ethernet adapters, charging cables, casing and other things needed in the device, The Verge reported.

Nintendo Switch's touchscreen was exposed for the first time, using Skylanders Imaginators. The most-awaited game console is set to be launched on March 3, and it can be bought at US $300/£280/AU $470.
