‘Yuri!!! On Ice’ Season 2 Spoilers, Update, Release Date: All-Night Screening Image Hints Sequel, When Will Fans See Victor and Yuri Again?

“Yuri On Ice” is undeniably one of the most beautiful stories ever told for some fans, especially the LGBTQ community. As its 12 episode Season 1 had ended December last year, fans scour for more information regarding a possible Season 2.

According to CeleBeat, “Yuri On Ice” realistic approach on people is what made it as the fan favorite. Of course, it was mentioned that everybody loves underdogs like the shy Yuri Katsuki which shines later on with the help of Victor.

Having Victor Nikiforov by his side, Yuri successfully delivered a breathtaking performance which ended the “Yuri On Ice” Season 1 Episode 12. Yet, the star only won the silver medal. It was then mentioned that if Yuri won the gold medal, then the anime would end. If Yuri hasn’t anything to prove anymore, the show would really end.

“I have a lot of plans in the works with the director for next year… including the wish to create a sequel. So I’m doing my best and working hard for that reason!!” said Mitsurou Kubo, “Yuri On Ice” creator in an interview. Yet no official confirmation have been released regarding the anime’s Season 2. Just speculations that “Yuri On Ice” season 2 would possibly air in October this year.

But wait, MobiPicker mentioned that the previous “Yuri On Ice” all night screening that happened last Feb 11 in TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills. After screening in over 46 cinemas, a new visual image of “Yuri On Ice” was shown which could be viewed below. The visual image then shows Phichit Chunaont holding a monopod to capture a picture of the group. Along with Yuri Katsuki, Yuri Pisetsky, and Viktor Nikiforov, other Grand Prix skaters were present as well.

Regarding rumors, AsiaStarz reported that Yuri’s life could be placed on the line in the upcoming season as speculations have mentioned. Yuri’s past secrets on his life would also be revealed. It was also wondered whether Yuri would encounter fatal challenges ahead while aiming for the gold medal in the upcoming “Yuri On Ice” Season 2.
