‘Eurovision 2017’: Changes And Chances Of The Contest Updates

Eurovision Song Contest's 62nd edition "Eurovision 2017" will be conducted in May 2017 in International Exhibition Centre, Kiev, Ukraine. One of the major change of the event this year is the hosts of the contest.

Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang will no longer be the hosts of "Eurovision". The information was confirmed by SBS network, the network through which "Eurovision" is aired on Australian Television. Adam Liaw, the Australian foodie is rumored to take over the role of the host of "Eurovision 2017."

The Mail Online has reported that Julia Zemiro also stated her exit after a long eight years of hosting "Eurovision." "It's hard to say goodbye but thrilled to be handing over to the next team on a high - douze points," says Julia Zemiro. Julia Zemiro also commented that she was attracted to the contest till the time Abba won the contest.

Sam Pang also confirmed his quit sharing his gratitude to SBS network for the opportunity he achieved through his journey with "Eurovision". The new performing artists to represent Australia for "Eurovision 2017" will be officially announced by SBS network on March 7, 2017.

When talking about the chances of the winners of the contest, Graham Noton is pessimistic of UK's chance to win in "Eurovision 2017" according to The Huffington Post. According to Graham, even the hosts of the contests also doesn't give any hope for him to win the Song Contest. He also adds that unexpected winners can also be expected to win the contest.

Earlier in January 2017, Lucie Jones, the contestant of "X-Factor" represented the UK. In "Eurovision 2017," Lucie will be singing her song "Never Give Up On You". A total of 43 countries will be a part of the contest in 2017. There will be semi-final before the actual contest. The semi-finals of the contest will be on 9 and 11 May and on May 13, 2017, the finale takes place.
