NASA Gets Help From Public To Name Trappist 1's Planets: 7 Deadly Sins, Apple iPhone Products, More Hilarious #7NamesFor7NewPlanets Twitter Results Here!

As NASA had discovered the new Trappist 1 planets, the internet had been raged about naming the seven. Twitter users then used the hashtag #7NamesFor7NewPlanets, to voice out their suggestions. Many funny results were suggested, yet some are saddening for some reasons.

According to Daily Mail, the seven alien worlds orbiting the Trappist 1 star has already its names for now. NASA’s tweet had mentioned that the Trappist 1 planets’ orbiting worlds would now just be named Trappist-1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f, 1g, and 1h.

With the #7NamesFor7NewPlanets, @idiotcracy posted the names: Planet McPlanetface, Moonie McMoonface, Rocky McRockface, Icy McIceface, Dusty McDustface, Gasy McGasface, and Wanda. In which planets around the universe were tweaked into silly ones. Another funny tweet came out as inspired from Apple’s product line. The tweet was then said that the planets should be Earth 2, Earth 2s, Earth2s Plus, Earth 2s Plus 128GB, Earth 2s Plus 128 GB Black, Earth 2s Plus 128GB Rose Gold, and Earth 3.

Donald Trump, as usual, isn’t overlooked by some users. Far from Trump 1 to 7 was tweeted as well. It was also mentioned that the seven planets to be hopefully habitable to be far from Trump literally. Yet the most honest tweet was made by @joeygrohman who wrote “#7NamesFor7NewPlanets Scobee, Smith, McNair, Onizuka, Resnik, Jarvis, and McAuliffe.” In which are the names of the astronauts killed on the Challenger shuttle in 1986.

Meanwhile, a twitter user had the seven planets named as the seven deadly sins per The Sun. While another named the planets as Snow White’s seven dwarfs. Some Twitter users had the notable cast of “Game of Thrones” and “Friends” as the names. Other suggestions include the “Harry Potter” series, 7 Days of the week and the “Fast and the Furious” franchise.
