You might think Fitbit had been left behind the finish line, or probably on the last place in the race. But this year, it's going to make a noise again in the tech industry.

According to Engadget, Fitbit finally revealed its latest and, so far, thinnest model highlighting its ultramodern and newest features, the Alta HR. For only $150, you may avail this awesome electronic accessory. This device can now evaluate your heart rate at once for the entire day. Also, one of its specifications will simply compute those calories you burn.

As reported by Wearable, it has the same thickness with that of Fitbit Alta, which was released last year. In fact, it really looks like the latter in terms of its appearance. But once you turn it over, its new sensor would be revealed. Moreover, it is also 25% thinner compared to Charge 2.

Likewise, Fitbit Alta HR also upgraded its feature into a whole new level. Now, it can actually enhance your sleeping habits by incorporating the motion and heart rate data. In this case, the device can figure out the quality of your sleep at night. It would then provide you some activities or different routines to promote proper and adequate sleep.

If you are a Fitbit device user already, you don't need to worry since you may also upgrade yours soon. Those who have Alta HR, the Charge 2 and the Blaze will eventually obtain the Sleep Stage tracking feature. So there's still a big chance for you to make your sleeping habit better than before using this tracker.

As stated by Buzzfeed, Alta HR can be purchased on a preorder basis today. But shipping will begin in March. Basically, you won't be waiting for too long. Despite Fitbit's declined global market share, here they are ready for another competition.
