‘Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders’ Season 2 Spoilers, Air Date: Know Jack Garett’s Family More; Crossovers from the ‘Criminal Minds’ Casts Will Happen

As “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” is known to be a spinoff for the “Criminal Minds,” the series is reported to be in its second season already. Prominent Chief Jack Garrett’s family would then be featured in the series. Of course, we would still have the International Response Unit to continue helping Americans having problems while in abroad.

According to TV Fanatic, “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” Season 2 would feature International Response Unit Chief Jack Garrett’s family. Garrett’s wife, Karen played by Sherry Stringfield and their oldest son would be introduced further in the series. Of course, more locations around the world would be seen by viewers.

The plot for the “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” Season 2 Episode 1 was stated to be: “Unit Chief Jack Garrett (Gary Sinise) and his international response team are called to Tanzania when a 23-member church group disappears." Jack then mentioned to the team that tourists are always the easiest target for criminals.

With that said, CarterMatt reported that an upcoming episode of “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” Season 2 would have “Criminal Minds” own Joe Mantegna to make an appearance as his character David Rossi. The special crossover is said to be an episode that would air March 15 entitled “Il Mostro.”

The synopsis for the “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” special crossover then goes: “When two casualties resemble the M.O. of the most notorious killer in Italian history, the International Response Team is called to investigate.” Paul Sorvino as Dr. Dominic Scarpa is another guest star for the episode was mentioned as well.

Aside from Rossi, Kirsten Vangsness who plays Penelope Garcia is reported to make a special appearance on “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” per WUSA9. The synopsis then goes as The International Response Team would tackle a case on Cairo wherein an Egyptian-American was killed in a gas attack and his friend went missing. The episode that she would appear is said to be a special episode that would air on March 30.
