Lee Min-ho, Song Hye-kyo and Song Joong-ki were among the winners in the 12th Annual Soompi Awards on February 28, 2017. The other awardees were announced in the official Soompi Awards website. Lee Min-ho won the Best Actor Award for his Korean television series "Legend of the Blue Sea". The actor portrayed as Kim Dam-ryeong, which was loved by hundreds of K-Drama fan. Not to mention achievement at the 2017 National Brand Awards, in which he got the grand prize in the culture category. The event was held at the Seoul National Assembly Hall on February 22, according to JKDaily.

The Korean Drama "Descendants of the Sun" star Song Hye-kyo, likewise, won Soompi's Best Actress Award. As stated by Inquisitr, the actress even helped in improving South Korea's image by funding some flyers used in stimulating the beauty of the country. She may think she just gave a small amount of aid. But this act would be very helpful for the history of Korea.

Meanwhile, Song Joong-ki, the lead actor of the "Descendants of the Sun" also won an award. Thanks to his co-star Jin Goo, they were able to get the Best Bromance award.
