The global release date of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus was pushed back to April 28 and not April 21. This might because Samsung is now cautiously with every launch after a rushed Galaxy Note7 release in 2016 that resulted in a failure.

According to VentureBeat, there's no given specific rationale behind the change of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus’ release schedule. It may be that Samsung is working on every detail to present impressive devices.

The company will officially present the Samsung Galaxy S8 duo for the first time during the Unpacked event in New York City on March 29. The most-awaited handsets will be accompanied by a new Gear VR headset match with their designs.

According to Mobile Syrup, a source named Evan Blass doesn't consider the change of release date as a delay. This is because the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus were never been released yet.

Moreover, Blass told the news outlet that his insider didn't provide any reason behind the prolonged release date. But as per speculation, Samsung is being more careful with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus to avoid faulty products at the end.

As a review, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is going to be 5.8-inch while the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is slightly bigger measuring 6.2-inch. However, they will both possess QHD + Super AMOLED displays. They will also sport a 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. In addition, the two handsets will run on Android 7.0 with a Bixby Digital Assistant.

Meanwhile, the pushing back of the release schedule for the Samsung galaxy S8 duo is a great chance for LG. This is because its G6 is set to be released domestically in South Korea in the next few days. There will be also a worldwide launching on the first days of April.
