Dell has been eager to produce the latest competitor to MacBook Pro, but it seems things didn't go as they planned in the Dell XPS 15 (2015). Interestingly, the tech giant is back to rule the tech world with the latest offering Dell XPS 15 (2017).

According to Forbes, Dell XPS 15 (2017) is all set to give MacBook Pro a tough head to head competition with its highly powerful specs and MacBook Pro like features. The model is quite heavy and weighs around 4.5 pounds. But again portability isn't an issue at all. It includes a glass covered trackpad that would definitely make the external mouse useless.

The laptop body is made of aluminum chassis as well as carbon fibers surrounding the keyboard. Apart from this, the Dell XPS 15 (2017) also features several USB ports USB- C, USB 3.0, charging port and HDMI 2 port. According to Huffington Post Dell has even added SD card reader in this latest laptop.

Dell XPS 15 (2017) might include two variants- 4K display and 1080p. Customers who want to enjoy 4K resolution need to spend extra money for that. It includes a sharp IGZO screen which displays excellent colors. The laptop's battery is another shocker. It includes a 97WHr battery that lasts for six hours on a single charge only when videos played back to back with 80% screen brightness.

In case of performance too, Dell XPS 15 (2017) has all the potential to outdo MacBook Pro. The laptop includes a seventh generation Intel processor along with 16GB RAM. It also includes 4GB NVIDIA's 10 series card, graphics chips and 512 SSD. Along with this, the latest laptop has an advantage over MacBook Pro, it is the price.

The Dell XPS 15 (2017) plays games without any interruptions. Users can also use Photoshop and other similar apps whereby they can open many photos at the same time without any problem.
