Beauty mogul Tyra Banks cited her reason why she put an end to her hosting stints in her own reality show America's Next Top Model (ANTM) and opted to step into a new dimension by replacing comedian-rapper Nick Cannon as the new host of competition show America's Got Talent (AGT.) Banks revealed that her decision to walk away from her own creation was not as heartbreaking as some people might think.

The brain behind the ANTM, Tyra Banks said that she has been thinking of leaving the show for so long but her lawyers convinced her to stay in the series she created. Tyra nodded to what her lawyers plead and decided to continue hosting for 14 more cycles, which translated into a much bigger success as it gained the attention of the world.

On Sunday, Tyra Banks shared the news via Twitter that despite her departure in ANTM she will not be bidding adieu to her hosting career as she is set to fill the void left by Nick Cannon in AGT. She tweeted last weekend, "Suprise! TyTy is the new host of #AGT @nbcagt."

The eight-year mainstay Nick Cannon was AGT's host since 2009 but called it quits earlier this year due to his racist comments controversy when he pulled off a joke about being black in his special segment. Cannon confirmed that he will not be returning to the show anymore and stressed his congratulatory remarks to the former ANTM-emcee, Tyra Banks.

Meanwhile, Tyra Banks expressed her excitement in taking over the role played by Nick Cannon as the AGT host, claiming her obsession with grand performances "that make the seemingly impossible possible." The creator of ANTM added, "I look forward to connecting with the dreamers, having fun and giving hugs and words of encouragement when needed."
