Candice Swanepoel's is a woman of her mind. An advocate of breastfeeding in public, the supermodel recently faced ire for a picture, which shows Candice Swanepoel breastfeeding her son Anacã. Even though this is not the only time that the issue of her breastfeeding her baby boy in public made headlines- she, a week ago posted another similar picture of her breastfeeding Anacã. The issue at large was not only the incident of breastfeeding in public but the fact that baby boy Anacã was buck naked when he was seen at the lap of mommy dearest.

Breastfeeding in public is a matter worthy of fighting for but why the birthday suit for the baby boy is the question in everybody's mind. In the recent shoot for Vogue in Brazil, the busy South African supermodel Candice Swanepoel found out time to spend with Anacã. Unconscious to the crew around her pictures show the mother and son spending some quality time with each other, and yes, the supermodel Swanepoel did breastfeed her child, reported East Coast Radio.

But why was baby boy Anacã naked? While some questioned it to be a publicity stunt, some defended the South African supermodel Candice Swanepoel saying the skin to skin closeness helps to build the bond between the mother and child. Many also suggested that the point of the picture was to advocate breastfeeding, so cloth or no cloth on the baby is very much the mom's prerogative.

The overdrive of emotion that followed the picture posted online hardly had much effect on the South African supermodel Candice Swanepoel. According to The Sun, the Victoria's Secret model previously has counter questioned very rightly that those who never raised an eyebrow over her nude photoshoots why now, are they questioning an act as natural as breastfeeding?

However, the fact remains that it is a natural image, which shows a mother taking care of her baby and there is certainly no reason for the hate!
